A day in the life.


As an Associate UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of user interfaces and user experiences for our applications. You will work closely with the Senior UX Strategist and other team members to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, conduct user research, and create wireframes and prototypes. You will also be involved in conducting usability testing and gathering feedback to iterate and improve the design. Additionally, you will assist in coding, testing, and debugging applications to ensure they meet the organization's standards and client's needs. Your attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills will be crucial in creating best-in-class applications.

We'd love to have you join us as an Associate Application Developer here at MMA National, if you have the following skills and qualifications:
Assist in the design and development of user interfaces and user experiences for applications. Collaborate with the Senior UX Strategist and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand user needs. Conduct user research to gain insights into user behavior and preferences. Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that align with the organization's brand and user requirements. Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve the design. Assist in coding, testing, and debugging applications to ensure they meet quality standards. Collaborate with developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.


In addition, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Graphic Design, Computer Science, or Human-Computer Interaction. Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma. Knowledge of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
Experience with managing WordPress sites and other CMS. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Familiarity with responsive design principles. Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines. Experience with data visualization and information architecture. Understanding of mobile app design principles and guidelines.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $62,010 to $108,465. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
