We seek an audio editor responsible for editing and mixing music for audio-visual material. You will be responsible for remote engineering and deployment, configuration, and testing of audio-visual systems to support new and existing engineering works and deployments across offices in line with the established regional and global standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for remote/ onsite engineering and deployment, configuration, and testing of audio-visual systems to support new and existing engineering works and deployments across VMware offices, in line with the established regional and global standards.
• Managing effective communications internally (within VMware, including with the IT project delivery manager, real estate teams, network teams, etc.) and externally (with AV system integrators, design partners, programmers, consultants, OEMs, etc.)
• Synchronizing music to video content.
• Creating and compiling soundtracks.
• Creating original music.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest music from different genres.
• Collaborating with music professionals.
• Editing sound effects and music according to the director's vision.

Requirements

• Strong experience with audio & video conferencing technologies, preferably Zoom Rooms, including how Zoom and multimedia solutions can work together.
• Strong experience with video conference endpoints, integrated audio-visual systems, wired/ wireless microphones, control systems, digital signage, etc.
• Qualification in film scoring, music production, sound engineering, or related field.
• Technical skill in mixing, scoring, and editing.
• A creative approach to music editing.
• A good ear for musical tones.
• The ability to balance audio and visuals effectively.
• The ability to take constructive criticism.
