QAP MK100 (3rd shift) Quality representative for the manufacturing process. Requires ability to accept or reject product, contain suspect product, support manufacturing goals for scrap and NOK rate reduction, adhere to established quality requirements & standards, and protecting internal & external customers from nonconforming product. 1) Quality standards & requirements: a) Ability to complete tasks related to upcoming audits including untagged material & current posted instructions, b) Capable of generating work instructions and Critical Visual Inspections (CVI), c) Basic understanding of tolerances, able to access Continental drawings, BOMs, & ATE N from SAP. 2) SAP material transactions & inventory: a) Ability to check inventory in SAP, b) Ability to block and unblock material in SAP. 3) Quality assurance tools: a) Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) including use of WinSPC software, b) Basic understanding of process capability (Cpk) & ability to generate Cpk reports, c) Capable of completing a Gage R&R study, d) Basic understanding & ability to complete Torque Accuracy studies, e) Basic understanding of 8D problem solving method, f) Understanding of pareto, histogram, & normal distribution. g) Understanding of FA Technician functions 4) Process knowledge: a) Process understanding in one area (described above), b) Capable of completing product file verifications c) Basic understanding of failure analysis on at least one area; ability for tearing down product for investigation, d) Capable of using calipers, micrometers, height gage, stereomicroscope, borescope and, pin gages to measure components or product. e) Capable of pulling and understanding individual part reports at FA stations 5) Handling suspect product: a) Confidence in using authority to stop a line or station which is producing high quality risk product, b) Understanding of steps required for containment of suspect material. 6) Basic understanding of qualification for a process – measurement, error proofing, calibration of load cell or pressure transducers. 7) Expected manufacturing work experience of one year in quality.

Basic understanding of SPC principles and process capability - Ability to determine proper measurement Page techniques for a given application - Problem solving skills, e.g. 8D and Quality tools e.g. Ishikawa/Fishbone, 5Why
2 years experience in a manufacturing or quality environment
- 3+ years experience in Automotive Quality - 2 years experience with product (ideal)
- AAS degree and at least 1-year experience in a manufacturing or quality environment or - Within 12month of graduating with an AAS degree
