Azure Infrastructure Engineer Consultant

Location: Chicago, IL 60606 LOOP area MUST BE able to be Onsite 3 days a week Hybrid

Can pay W2 or C2C up to $90/hr. C2C depending on experience

Candidate must be able to work on Highly Secure Data. Currently no sponsorship or 3rd parties.

Key points:

• Must have proven current HANDS-ON experience in Azure Cloud Engineering with computing technologies and platforms with the following:
• DevOps Azure Infrastructure Deployment, deploying and configuring Azure infrastructure components, such as VMWare virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, and load balancers ensuring the scalability, availability, security of the infrastructure, containerization, CI/CD, deployment,
• Azure Resource Management (ARM) templates or Infrastructure as code (IaC) tooling to automate the deployment and management of Azure resources. Implement infrastructure-as-code practices to ensure consistency and reproducibility.
• Azure Security and Compliance, implementing security best practices and configuring Azure security features, such as Azure Active Directory (AAD) authentication, Dynamics 365, APP Dynamics, Azure Key Vault, network security groups, and Azure Security Center. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Work very closely with the architecture committee to implement designs and solutions.
• Must have knowledge of infrastructure components, such as virtual machines, storage, networking, load balancers, DevOps principles, tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Proficiency in scripting and automation languages
• Understanding of security best practices for cloud environments
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Financial Industry Experience
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect
• Multi-cloud experience
• B.S. in computer science, information technology or related field or equivalent experience
