    Pursuing B.S./B.A. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar technical
    domain
    Enrolled as a Junior or Senior in College

    Highly Preferred:
    Interest in Life Sciences
    Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, React JS, Microsoft Graph API would be highly beneficial

  • Position Summary
    BMS's Information Technology function aims to support the needs of all BMS employees to drive efficiency and satisfaction, ultimately enabling BMS to bring medicines to patients faster. The Information Technology team based out of the Cambridge, MA office is seeking an IT Associate to support the end-to-end design, development, testing and deployment of a tool to support dynamic conference room booking at the new Cambridge Crossing site. In this role, the Associate will work with a cross-functional team representing Science, IT (Local and Global) and Facilities. The Associate will be responsible for driving the end-to-end process and working in an agile environment to ensure the solution is purpose-built and meets the needs of the end users. The Associate will work in a dynamic environment and will be exposed to all pieces of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, as well as to varied functions within BMS.

    Key Responsibilities
    Co-lead business requirements gathering sessions to identify and document the needs for the solution
    Co-lead the relationship with end users, driving transparent and frequent communications
    Work in an agile environment, including leading the demonstrations of the solution as build is taking place
    Co-lead the assessment of needs against existing Commercial applications
    Co-lead the assessment of needs against internal resources for support (e.g. Digital Greenhouse)
    Co-lead the design of the solution based on the users' requirements
    Lead the development and unit testing of the solution (Mobile web application)
    Co-lead the integration and functional testing of the solution
    Co-lead the UAT of the solution in alignment with IT and business users
    Co-lead the deployment of the solution for the Cambridge community
    Lead the design and creation of communications and marketing material for the Cambridge community, as well as other sites that may benefit from the final solution

    Qualifications & Experience
    Pursuing B.S./B.A. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar technical domain
    Interest in Life Sciences
    Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, React JS, Microsoft Graph API would be highly beneficial
    Exceptional candidates would have some familiarity with API Gateway, Lambda & S3 Website hosting
    Awareness of Agile methodologies
    Awareness of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process
