Impact Contracting, Inc. has an immediate opening for hard working Demolition Forman to learn, grow, and be part of a team environment. Applicants must have knowledge and proven application of all phases of demolition from interior/selective demolition to total demolition. Looking for applicants with high motivation, strong work ethic, and excellent leadership skills and communication skills. Applicants must be able to communicate with all levels of employees, management and outside parties such as owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers. Applicants must be flexible, well-organized, detail oriented and be able to multi-task, and must have experience overseeing subcontractor work to meet all timely and quality expectations of the job.



Essential Duties:




  • Provide direct supervision and demolition guidance to general laborer crew of various sizes

  • Coordinating demolition work according to priorities and plans (Saw cutting, Roll Off, equipment delivery, etc.)

  • Ability to effectively represent the company and communicate with others at varying technical levels

  • Working and cooperating with customers, management, project managers, superintendents, general contractors & crews

  • Ensure manpower is adequate (schedule & communicate with crew)

  • Ensure resources are adequate (scheduling rentals, trucks, tools, equipment, etc.)

  • Read and interpret site plans, construction drawings, and scope of work

  • Accurately using and maintaining all company hand tools and heavy equipment- Including but not limited to: Sawzall, hand grinders, concrete saws, jack hammer, excavators, loaders, skid steers, scissor lifts, and boom lifts

  • Perform basic machine maintenance, including fluid checks, oil and lube, greasing, etc. and mechanical repairs, as necessary

  • Must be safety-oriented & supervise the safety of all workers on the job

  • Problem solve as issues arise with knowledge and critical thinking

  • Ability to work independently and run a job safely & efficiently

  • Pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Attending trainings and badging’s, as needed.

  • Dependable, reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

  • Proactive & self-motivated

  • Flexible availability to work days/nights/weekends

  • Travel is required 100% of the time
