Job Description
A diligent financial and accounts professional with experience in cost controls, inventory management, and compliance with legal and ethical requirements. Skilled in creating effective F&B control policies and procedures, analyzing financial performance data, and developing strategies to optimize F&B profitability and guest satisfaction. A good communicator who can create digestible reports and give presentations that assist upper-level decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective F&B control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and contractual requirements.
- Ensure that F&B inventory and cost control systems are in place and being utilized effectively.
- Analyze F&B financial performance data and provide recommendations for improvements to the leadership team.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize food and beverage profitability and guest satisfaction.
- Manage the F&B inventory control system to ensure accurate inventory counts and minimize waste.
- Work with the purchasing department to ensure that food and beverage vendors are meeting contractual obligations.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with F&B health and safety standards.
- Develop and implement training programs for F&B staff to ensure compliance with controls policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Commerce or Similar or 2-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or similar major
Experience:
At least 3 years experience as F&B Controller from Hotel Industry with an up-scale (4/5 Star)hospitalityenvironment.
