Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Load Balancing Engineer to join our team in the Consumer Banking space. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying solutions of varying complexity to meet the application needs. You will collaborate with application developers, network and security engineers, and project managers to ensure the successful implementation of load balancing solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with application developers to understand requirements and design load balancing solutions that meet application needs.


• Work closely with network and security engineers to seamlessly integrate load balancing solutions into the existing infrastructure.


• Configure and maintain load balancing devices, utilizing F5 products such as F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM, to efficiently distribute traffic across multiple servers or data centers.


• Monitor and troubleshoot load balancing systems to identify and resolve performance issues or bottlenecks.


• Conduct performance testing and capacity planning to ensure the load balancing infrastructure can handle expected traffic loads.


• Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.


• Provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders regarding load balancing best practices and industry standards.


• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of load balancing concepts, network protocols, and F5 load balancing technologies.


• Experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM platforms is highly desirable.


• Knowledge of other load balancing solutions is a plus.


• Background in consumer banking or financial services is advantageous.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.


• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing project requirements.


• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
