Fabrication Assembler, In-House and On-Site will assist in pre-planning and will aid in overseeing the installation of different modular systems based on designed drawings and layouts approved by customers and exhibitors. They will work on site to confirm deadlines of specific system related management orders are met in a timely manner. They will also ensure effective and efficient work for the union and labor force crews. They will perform skilled and unskilled labor in warehouse, as needed.


Essential Job Duties

  • Facilitate in preparing for event installation and dismantle by reviewing Shepard operating systems
  • Aid in administering planning and pre-event meetings
  • Collaborate with System Supervisor and Team Leader of assigned event to ensure Lead is aware of on-site tasks
  • Inform proper project information from the In-House System Supervisor
  • Review, follow, and meet deadlines on Account Executives event Management Orders for every event
  • Assist in creation of labor call for event and projects
  • Collaborate with Team Leader to ensure that job boxes, ladders, and proper onsite systems equipment is loaded from warehouse
  • Oversee unloading and staging of equipment to ensure all projects are accounted for and labeled correctly
  • Lead the installation of all projects on events
  • Meet daily with System Supervisor or Team leader to discuss deadlines and completed tasks
  • Dismantle all projects and pack systems product efficiently for return to warehouse
  • Follow and adhere to all Shepard policies, procedures, safety standards, and Systems SOPs
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
  • Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety rules
  • Lead pulling and packing of all needed materials for system projects
  • Build booths and trade show products
  • Clean, repair, and store inventory
  • Load and unload equipment
  • Build booths and carpet on-site
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in warehouse or shop operations
  • Experience operating power equipment and tools, including forklifts
  • Good oral and written communications skills; good math skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Ability to perform as a responsible ESOP owner by making daily decisions to benefit the client and the company
