TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:




  • Complex java-scripting in a ServiceNow environment (not “standard” java script)

  • Creating, modifying complex ServiceNow Dashboards & Reports

  • Advanced development and configuration skills in ServiceNow’s IT operations management application modules including Incident, Change, Problem, Vulnerability, Configuration, Software/Hardware Asset, Security Incident Response, GRC (governance, risk, and compliance), Service Mapping, Event Management, and Knowledge



                      o GUI design,

                      o Database design

                      o Workflow design

                      o Flow Designer




  • Development of systems integrations between the ServiceNow platform and security / vulnerability penetration testing systems, such as Tenable Security Center or Qualys

  • Configuration and scripting of linkage between Vulnerability records (VIT’s) and CMDB-CI records

  • Configuration and customization of ServiceNow Discovery (Discovery probes and sensors or “patterns”)

  • Configuration of ServiceNow CMDB (configuration management database) using the CSDM is the ServiceNow® framework

  • Configuration of Service Mapping

  • Configuration of Event Management



PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:




  • Proven consulting experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ITSM solutions in client environments – providing options while solving business process and technical challenges during project delivery

  • Degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology and proven experience in technical consulting roles.

  • A minimum 5 years’ proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM solutions in a minimum of five of the following applications:  Incident, Problem, Change, Release, SDLC, Vulnerability, Security Incident, Knowledge, Asset (hardware/software), Governance-Risk-and-Compliance, Service Mapping, Event Management, Service Portal, and Configuration management.

  • A minimum 5 years’ proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM solutions for Service Mapping and Event Management.

  • A minimum 5 years’ proven experience in working on the ServiceNow Platform

  • A minimum 5 years’ proven experience with Web Technologies (such as XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, JSON, Angular JS, etc.) and of working in a SaaS environment

  • Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, SAML/SSO and other such technologies

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during project delivery

  • Strong analytical and designing skills to provide alternative options when needed

  • Active listener, respecting others' point of view and takes ownership of contributing the required input

  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentational)

  • Demonstrated customer centric attitude, interpersonal skills, and ability to deal with cultural diversity

  • Is committed to customer satisfaction and ensures that actions contribute towards a positive experience by the customer.

  • A minimum 5 years’ experience in Software Design, Development, Analysis, Testing, and Implementation in ServiceNow platform as both Developer and Administrator

  • Proven expertise on the creation of workflows for Service Catalog items in ServiceNow

  • Experience scripting on Service Catalog/Email Template/Workflow script

  • Experience in Inbound Email Integration and creating Outbound Email Notifications using Email Templates in ServiceNow

  • Experience in the operation and use of ServiceNow Service Mapping tool

  • Experience in the operation and use of ServiceNow Discovery tool

  • Experience in customizing Discovery probes and sensors or patterns used by the Discovery tool

  • 5+ years working in the ITSM or IT services/consulting industry – in any of the following IT support functions:

  • IT Service Desk
