Verista is currently seeking Validation Engineers with experience in facilities, equipment and process validation within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment to support CQV (Commissioning, Qualification & Validation) activities.
Partner closely with the business to analyze technical data, provide recommendations, and lead cross-functional decision making and implementation of the recommendations.
Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data. Examine database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.
Install and organize information systems to guarantee company to functionality. Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams. Review the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.Educate staff members through training and individual support.Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.Bachelors degree
Applied mathematics and statistics. Data visualization, data migration and data modeling experience.
Relational database management systems. DBMS software, SQL Server knowledge.
Direct 1-2 project independently or providing support on 3-5 projects simultaneously with project specific deliverables being met and managed proactively. Capable of managing oversight of scheduled projects managed by less experienced colleagues
Requirements
Your Qualifications/Skills Needed:
10+ years of experience driving successful software development projects.
5+ years of Cloud Solution Architecture experience (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS).
Extensive experience with Data architecture, distributed systems and microservices.
Ability to assess and evaluate solution options to narrow down to the most optimal solution supported by relevant documentation and architectural representations.
Experience with APIs (applications and programming interfaces) and integrations.
Experience working hands on across the full stack from user interface to database.
Experience in Data Management and familiar with Data Catalog, Meta/Master Data Management and Master Data Governance.
Experience with machine learning, data science tools, operational systems using AI/ML.
Experience with Agile mode of delivery DevOps processes (tools such as GitLab) in an Enterprise environment.
Ability to lead discussions across IT functions and architect fit-for-purpose solutions.
Technical expertise, Business Process knowledge and excellent communication skills.
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
AWS Cloud Solution Architect Certification.
Experience in Life Sciences, Biotech or Pharma industry.
