MUST BE CERTIFIED AS A MT/MLS/MLTPOSITION SUMMARYPerforms laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Banking, Clinical Microscopy and Immunology according to the area assigned. May include some phlebotomy.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS1. Licenses and Certifications Required ASCP or equivalent ND license or ND Provisional Permit2. Educational Requirements BS in Medical Laboratory Science Official diploma or transcript from the school/university from where Degree was received3. Experience Requirements Clinical Internship4. Special Skills or Training Requirements None other than those required in Clinical InternshipManager NotesThat candidate will be trained as a generalist, including blood bank, and micro (culture set-ups, gram stains, rapid kits testing, GeneXpert, but not plate reading). Antibody ID testing is a significant need, in terms of blood bank experience. Beckman Coulter chemistry and hematology instrumentation is highly preferred to cut down on training time (link removed) We are looking for permanent placement candidates for evening and night shift, MT/MLS preferred over MLT, full service blood bank experience required, Beckman-Coulter chemistry instrumentation experience highly preferred, all positions participate in the weekend night shift rotation (2 12-hour shifts, Friday and Saturday nights), and phlebotomy is required.
