**Hybrid in Silver Spring, MD - candidate must come onsite 3 days a week.**

Our media client is looking for a QA Analyst to join their team.

Responsibilities of the QA Analyst:

Test the enhancements, defects and changes for integrated Affiliates and Ad Sales Systems
Create and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases for Web applications and other platforms
Perform Functional, System, End-to-End, Security, Backend testing and report/track defects
Actively participate in team meetings to understand Business, Functional and Technical requirements and adapt/align test efforts with rapidly evolving requirements
Participate in technical design reviews to develop test strategy and to make sure that all user requirements are covered by the QA test
Work closely with Development and IT Infrastructure team for root cause analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of defects / problems

Requirements of the QA Analyst:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 7 years of overall QA experience
At least 5 years experience in testing in web environments
Working knowledge of the testing methodologies and the quality processes
Expertise in analyzing business and technical requirements, developing and executing test plans/test cases, analyzing test results, defects reporting/tracking and providing regular status reports
Experience testing system interfaces
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Defect life cycle and Test Management
Possess a good understanding of application programming, database, system design, operating systems and networking
Must have a strong understanding of data flow through systems
Must be able to write complex SQL scripts
Experience with data migration and verification against backend systems
Excellent test case execution and trouble shooting skills
Experience with testing reports
