Be part of an exciting and team-oriented, multi-specialty Ophthalmology practice! Sight Partners provides a great work life balance with no weekends or holidays work. We are looking for a Full Time, 40 hours per week, Surgical Technologist position for our Seattle - Northgate location.

Partner with physicians and nurses to provide professional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures within our ASC facility. Responsibilities include:

• Process and sterilize instruments to the highest standards.
• Assist and handle the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
• Gain an understanding of the procedures being performed and anticipate the need of the surgeon.
• Ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and function cooperatively with physicians and staff exhibiting teamwork characteristics.
• Maintain the highest standard of sterile technique and vigilance of the sterile field during the surgical procedure.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR/AED is mandatory and ACLS is preferred.
• Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office products, G-Suite, and Windows environment, and strong keyboarding skills.
• Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Knowledge of sterile technique as it applied to the operating room.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, etc.)
• Demonstrate a strong ability to multitask
• Have the flexibility to help in all areas and effectively work in a team environment
• Maintain a professional presentation, patient confidentiality and have strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication for exemplary customer service
• Strong organization and attention to detail
