As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Green Irony, you will play a crucial role in advancing our mission by identifying and attracting exceptional talents who are passionate about pushing boundaries and finding innovative solutions. Your expertise in recruitment and talent management will directly contribute to assembling a team that is equipped and ready to challenge the status quo and tackle the most pressing issues in technology.


Roles & Responsibilities

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, your primary role is to manage and enhance our talent acquisition processes. This includes active involvement in the recruiting process, candidate pipeline development, and driving improvement initiatives within the People Organization.


Primary responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and understanding recruiting metrics, suggesting additions, removals, or updates based on benchmarking and performance thresholds.
  • Developing and implementing a 30/60/90 onboarding plan for new hires to ensure their effective integration into our team and culture.
  • Proactively building a pipeline of candidates for future roles.
  • Actively participating in recruiting, ensuring the team is adequately staffed and skilled.
  • Learning and providing recommendations for improvement on our recruiting systems - Workable and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborating with the People team to ensure the organization's values and culture are embodied in the team.
  • Participating in community activities in Tampa and Raleigh, contributing to our community presence.
  • Attending career events and hosting local job fairs to invite and engage with potential talent.
  • Executing company efforts such as meeting improvements, Kompass todos, etc.
  • When recruiting is slow be willing to be an active contributor to people role task.

  • Anticipates potential obstacles in the hiring process and proactively develops solutions.
  • Acts as a brand ambassador, positively representing the organization to potential hires.

  • Maintains relationships across various functions within the organization.
  • Builds rapport with candidates, stakeholders, and community members in an open, friendly, and accepting way.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Talent Acquisition role, with a focus on recruiting and onboarding.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment strategies and pipeline development.
  • Experience with recruiting systems, particularly Workable and LinkedIn.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and implement company policies and procedures.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Located in the Greater Tampa Bay Area or Raleigh (Preferred).
