1 Resource Group is sourcing a Technical Illustrator/Draftsman to join a growing team in the Machinery industry. The Technical Illustrator/Draftsman is responsible for creating and maintaining technical illustrations that visually demonstrate machine components, assemblies, and installations in compliance with industry and company standards. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project requirements and ensure quality in all documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and revise technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams for the machine components, assembly instructions and installation instructions using CAD software.
• Interpret technical information, schematics, and diagrams and translate them into meaningful illustrations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure correct and complete documentation.
• Prepare technical illustrations for company publications, print, and electronic media.
• Ensure that all technical documentation is in compliance with industry and company standards.
• Assist in technical writing and editing projects as directed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical documentation issues.
• Create and maintain a digital library of technical manuals and drawings.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in technical illustration or drafting.
  
• Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
  
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and information to create meaningful illustrations.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  
• Familiarity with industry and company standards for technical documentation.
