We are looking for a Full-time contractor or employee for a AWS DevOps Engineer role.Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system. System Analyst will be responsible for Implement systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healing. Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes on AWS (link removed) Automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation on AWS. Work closely with developers to implement continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS Build tools and processes to support the infrastructure Share knowledge within the team Skills(Required): Experience with industry-standard tools for infrastructure monitoring, application performance monitoring, visualization, and alerting Experience in automation and testing via scripting & programming (TFS, PowerShell, Jenkins, Python, Ruby, Java) Strong background in Agile Principles / Continuous Integration / Continuous Release Experience of Public cloud AWS DevOps design and engineering & support experience Strong experience in Configuration Management and Release Management Skills(Preferred): Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional engineering teams that incorporate software developers, QA, and product managers Clear written and verbal communication Experience in best practices for optimizing or - AssociIT infrastructure, providing policies, standards and guidelines Certified on at least one: AWS DevOps Engineering, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, or AWS Certified SysOps Administratate
