About the Position

The Associate Data Analyst will serve as a critical member of Beyond 12s Data and Research team and ensure that the data we use to support our students and partners is available, accurate, and up-to-date. Under the supervision of the Senior Associate Director of Data Insights, the Associate Data Analyst will clean and load customer-generated data, maintain detailed documentation, automate data staging, cleaning, and ETL processes, and optimize the functionality of data tools(link removed) In addition, the Associate Data Analyst will provide support across the team and organization in order to provide exceptional data support and service (e.g. data platform support, dashboards, and visualizations) to Beyond 12 partners. Finally, the Associate Data Analyst will support developing and disseminating data insights, including data querying, reporting, and analysis.

You Will

• Stage student data in a timely and accurate manner by using automated scripts to ensure data integrity and consistency

• Collaborate with the Senior Data Analyst to implement and optimize all data staging, Data & Research reporting, mass communications, and key data maintenance activities by leveraging automation tools and scripts to streamline processes and procedures.

• Support with data implementation and integration of pipelines between Beyond 12 systems and databases and generate pipeline and storage recommendations for Beyond 12 products such as Salesforce, FiveTran, and Google Big Query.

• Prioritize the cleanliness and accuracy of student data and contribute to the codebase, tools, and processes necessary to maintain those data and ensure that the data is aligned with Beyond 12 data security and privacy practices.

• Create and maintain detailed documentation of data processes, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of data sources, defnitions, cleaning, and transformation processes.

• Provide exceptional support to partners and internal staff by performing ad-hoc data analysis and data deep dives, and delivering timely and accurate results.

• Technically skilled with data analysis and visualization tools, including proficiency with Excel, Python, and SQL, and familiarity with Looker
  

• Skilled in data organization, data management, and time management and able to support teams in presenting data to audiences of varied technical skill in ways that inspire and empower stakeholders to move from insight to action
  

• Creative and flexible when solving problems, and curious and resourceful in identifying new solutions
