Kforce has a client in search of a Marketing Data Analyst in San Mateo, CA. This is a 100% remote role
Description:
* Pivotal PowerBI Reporting role on Global Marketing Team * Goal: Take validated data sets in BI to build reporting and analytics packages to allow Marketing team to run more effectively
* Help marketing to integrate into PowerBI; This will be more than simply looking at SFDC data set; Role will also be helping to construct other integrations within PowerBI to help the Marketing team better run their business; SFDC is just 1 component of this (i.e. Integrate Marketo into PowerBI)
* Reporting that currently exists is basic ; This is a hybrid role will be to understand how PowerBI works/operates to build meaningful reports that are specific to a Marketing business unit
Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain data models/reports, and provide production support for the Marketing Team * Responsible for following consistent practices to ensure data integrity and deal with imperfections in data; Champion the acquisition of new data sources to enhance value and fill gaps; Automate collection processes; Effectively process structured and semi-structured/unstructured data; Proficiently integrate varied datasets;
Collaborate with business stakeholders as needed to ensure solid data understanding and proper data transformation; Work cross-functionally with development and engineering teams; Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns; Draw conclusions and gain actionable insights
Required Skills : * 3-5 years technical experience in the area of Marketing Data and Analytics * Must be able to drive appropriate documentation including requirements and technical documentation * SQL, Python skills * Excellent data visualization skills (PowerBI) * Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills * Have hands on interest and experience in working within a Marketing business unit * Ability to take the existing data set and provide recommendations around what else could be valuable from a reporting perspective * Positive, motivated, confident with hands on experience taking business requirements and synthesizing them into meaningful reporting/analytics packages used to make key business decisions * Proven track record and interest in taking a blank slate of sorts - and creating meaningful reporting and analytical outcomes Systems: * V. Strong in Power BI * Snowflake: write code yet understand how this impacts a Marketing organization * Writing SQL code and (Python is nice to have) Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
