Are you interested in the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in optimizing an online presence and improving search engine visibility?

FMX is hiring a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join the digital experience team in optimizing the companys website performance. In this role, youll work closely with marketing and digital experience leaders to learn about the facilities management industry, research customer data, discover ways to improve performance, and aid in decision making by creating reports and dashboards.

Youll get to work with best-in-class software systems like Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and WordPressbuilding experience to land your resum at the top of recruiters stacks.

Responsibilities youll be learning alongside our team:

• Conduct keyword research to identify target search queries relevant to FMXs solutions and target audience
• Assist in optimizing website content to improve search engine visibility and organic rankings
• Collaborate with the content marketing team to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with our keyword strategy
• Assist in collecting and analyzing website performance and SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Semrush
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in SEO to make recommendations for continuous improvement

Requirements

Qualifications that would make for the best fit:

• Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business, technology, or a related field
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar productivity software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and well-organized
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new concepts and techniques
  

The hiring process for this role:

Compensation:

• $13-15/hr, based on experience
• You can expect to work 10 hours a week
