We are in the process of staffing a Virtual Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist where a client needs someone to handle the following responsibilities. For other job information and updates on virtual roles, make sure you follow us at @momtovirtualassistant(link removed)> As a Digital Marketing and Content Specialist, you will play a key role in repurposing content, managing and creating the content calendar, and crafting and managing the weekly newsletter. You will also be responsible for managing the Pinterest account and creating and posting two SEO-optimized blog posts per week. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of sourdough and cleaner eating, as well as knowledge of SEO.
Key Responsibilities - Repurpose existing content for use across various digital marketing channels, including social media, email, and blogs.
- Manage and create a content calendar to ensure a consistent and strategic flow of content across all platforms.
- Create and manage our weekly newsletter, including content curation, design, and distribution.
- Manage our Pinterest account, creating and curating content that aligns with our brand and drives engagement.
- Create and post two SEO-optimized blog posts per week on our WordPress site, ensuring high-quality and informative content.
- Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed to support our marketing and business goals.
Requirements - Experience in digital marketing and social media management (a must).
- Understanding of sourdough and cleaner eating (a must).
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices (a must).
- Proficiency in using platforms such as Kajabi, LearnDash, WordPress, Instagram, Pinterest, Canva, and ConvertKit.
- Tech-savvy and able to quickly adapt to new tools and platforms.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Location: Remote (EST, CST, or MST Time Zones)
- Hours: Part-time (5-7 hours per week, with availability to increase as needed)
