- Title: Sr. Business Analyst - Contract
- Rate: $65 - $75/hr (6 month contract)
- Requirements: Oracle EAM + PowerBi + UAT
- Location: 100% Remote
Our client, a well-established and socially responsible company based in Phoenix, is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst with expertise in Oracle EAM and PowerBI. This is a contract position with an expected duration of six months.
This role involves retrofitting management reports and dashboards (PowerBI) to consume data from the new Oracle EAM system, instead of the old legacy system. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to grasp business requirements and set up User Acceptance Testing (UAT) standards. Your focus will be on mapping existing reports and conducting UAT to verify data accuracy, rather than creating new reports from scratch.
Responsibilities:
- Business UAT on the PowerBi reports with Oracle Data flowing into these reports (retrofitting the existing reports that are consuming legacy system with the new target system data)
- Staging/identifying test data for the reports that would need to be tested as part of the business process through all prototypes leading up to go-live and providing post-go-live production support as well
- Running test scripts as one of the testers for the reporting test case scenarios during the report testing activates
- Collaborate and communicate with business team and field resources
- Have an understanding of business processes, ensure the reports meet company needs from a functional perspective, and provide recommendations/suggestions for said reports
- Act as an innovative thinker, providing qualitative feedback on reports
Requirements
- BS degree and 5+ years of experience
- Deep knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
- PowerBi and/or Qlik BI reporting experience
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Excellent communication/presentation skills to interact with business leaders
