Collins Aerospace is seeking a Lean Agile Scrum Master who will act as a servant-leader alongside Product Owner(s) to create high-performing scrum team(s) that can accelerate capability delivery. Help teams embrace Lean-Agile Values, adopt and apply Lean-Agile Principles, and implement Lean- Agile practices. Drive the journey towards high-performing teams and working groups through transparency, team empowerment, digitalization, impediment busting, and continuous improvement in order to promote customer and business value.

This position is in Largo, FL and is 100% onsite. Relocation assistance is available provided final candidate meets eligibility requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist teams and working groups in meeting their delivery goals and facilitates both team and program level events such as the Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Increment Planning, Demonstrations, and Retrospective while ensuring compliance with the program's lean-agile processes.
• Act as a performance coach leading to positive team dynamics, team self-management, continuous improvement, accountability, transparency, customer focus, and impediment busting. Analyze and present performance metrics to help scrum teams improve and take responsibility for their actions.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

• At least 2+ years of Agile and Lean experience, preferably as a Scrum Master (SM) or Release Train Engineer (RTE)
• Experience working with Agile tools such as Confluence/Jira or IBM Rational Team Concert
• Experience working with various stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
• Some experience working in a lab environment
• Thrives in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment
• Solid problem solving and influencing skills
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
• Courage to speak truth to power using evidence based data
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Must have an active and transferable DoD Secret clearance prior to start date, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
• Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recent hands-on experience as a successful Scrum Master (SM) or Release Train Engineer (RTE)
• RTX CORE Professional
• Experience and/or certification with Agile Frameworks such as Scale Agile Framework (SAFe) or Scrum @ Scale
• Scrum Alliance certification (CSM, A-CSM, CSP-SM) or PMIs Agile Certified Professional
• Experience and/or certification with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
• Understanding of agile metrics (tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.) to analyze and improve sprint planning
