Actively seeking a REMOTE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE for a Direct Hire, remote role with a growing Insurance Agency in Brooklyn. Candidate needs to have prior insurance agency experience in property or casualty insurance within both personal and commercial property to be considered to work remotely. - HOURS: Monday Friday, 9 5:30 PM EST; Friday Office Closes @ 4:30 PM LOCATION: REMOTE PAY RATE: $55 - $60k (Compensation Based on Experience) BENEFITS HIGHLIGHTS: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Employer Matching, PTO & Paid Holidays - IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Prior work in an Insurance Agency, Wholesale Broker, or Agency REQUIRED 4+ Years of experience in Personal/Commercial Property or Casualty Insurance REQUIRED Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Knowledge of CRM Systems like Salesforce, QQCatalyst STRONG Communication, written, and listening skills REQUIRED - ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Handle all inbound phone calls coming into the office Oversee billing and invoicing Will communicate with clients and carriers Filing and handling of Endorsements Keeping client and carrier information updated in company internal systems Additional customer service duties as assigned - Ascendo is a Certified Minority-Owned Staffing Firm, and we welcome and celebrate diversity.
