Job Title: Business Systems Analyst IIILocation: 75 Chestnut Ridge Road, Montvale, NJ Long Term Duties: Business systems analysts should take a bird's-eye view of the operation, identifying key areas of growth and development. Using current- and future-state process models to support the business line and its suite of products and related systems, the BSA gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes business needs, documenting requirements and revising existing system and process logic issues.Analysing complex business problems and assessing how automated systems can solve them Translating business requirements into highly specified project requirements Architecting cost-effective solutions and opportunities of varying complexity by collaborating with business and technical associates Leading regulatory and compliance activities and software procurement SCRUM/Agile/Jira experience and expertise is a must. Exposure to Low-code technology is beneficial. Skills:Work with the Business Team/Product Owners to define requirements, work with business stakeholders for prioritization and delivery of new capabilities, features, defect fixes, and functionality.MUST be experienced in SCRUM/Agile development methodology; MUST be experienced with Jira Understand business use cases and end-user needs; Develop user stories and acceptance criteria that deliver on business and end-user needs;Identify and manage the backlog collaboratively with dev tech leads to create sprint releases to meet those needs As a member of the development team, reporting to technical lead, maximize the value of the role during all stages of product development and delivery activities, including user story development, sprint planning and reviews, and product backlog management Provide scope oversight and guidance in development planning to determine the team's objectives for the upcoming product sprint releasesManage the product backlog in partnership with the Business Team/Product Owners Escalate any technical impediments to the Tech Leads.Escalate Risks that could impact the project to the Project Management Work with the development team to ensure features, bugs, and enhancements are addressed and scoped in an Agile fashion Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, story refinement/grooming and team retrospectives; ensure team has a clear understanding of the priorities, the stories on the backlog, and the product vision and how the stories relate to another Lead Backlog requirements sessions with the Business Team/Product Owners in order to create a logical backlog that can be actioned upon by the dev team Utilize and incorporate feedback from the Business Team/Product Owners into enhancements Experienced and comfortable with Agile approach5-10 years of experience Required Skills:AGILESCRUMJIRAUSE CASESBUSINESS REQUIREMENTS
