We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher with expertise to join us.

1. A bachelor's degree or above, solid professional knowledge and relevant educational experience.
2. Familiar with English teaching of the BC curriculum, the BC ELL program.
3. Proficient in English reading, writing, listening and speaking.

- SSAT/SAT/AP English Instructor:
1. A bachelor's degree or above, solid professional knowledge, and experience in English education.
2. Excellent communication skills appropriate/relevant to test type and students.
3. Understand and be familiar with the topics by analyzing the SSAT/SAT/AP English past paper.
4. Previous teaching experience and qualifications are considered assets.
5. Tutor tailored SSAT/SAT/AP English courses based on the student level and needs.
6. Develop SSAT/SAT/AP English Prep Materials if needed.

- English Literature and Creative Writing Instructor:
1. Understanding of English literature in elementary and secondary school is preferred.
2. Instruct students on interpreting literature and assign books to read.
3. Teach students about the structure and content of the English language, including proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.
4. Provide constructive feedback and suggestions on student essays/assignments/writing.
5. Proficient in English reading, writing, listening and speaking.

Job Details:
Job Types: full-time and part-time.
Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour.
Schedule:
1. On call.
2. Monday to Friday during after-school and evening hours
3. Weekend availability
4. The teaching schedule may be different during school holidays

Qualifications:
1.Ability to commute/relocate: Richmond, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred).
2. Experience: Teaching 2-3 year (preferred).
3. Teaching Certificate of Qualification in British Columbia (preferred)
