ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for a strong Director of Marketing to lead our global marketing efforts. The successful candidate will have solid experience developing and executing marketing strategies for mobile applications and cryptocurrency projects.  In this high profile role, you will recruit, manage and grow a marketing team of talented professionals, to handle areas such as SEO, SEM, Social, Community, Content, Conferences & Events, Traditional Media, etc.  You will be responsible for the overall positioning and messaging for the company, and spearhead the successful growth marketing efforts to establish the company’s brand recognition and cryptocurrency community.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive the marketing strategy and execution as a member of the senior leadership team


• Develop, plan, and execute marketing initiatives that will drive the company’s strategic growth and user community expansion 


• Set and achieve objectives for social media, including growth, reach, engagement, lead & conversion. 


• Monitor trends and activity in social media and platforms such as Discord and Telegram.


• Drive search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) initiatives.


• Responsible for company’s website and marketing materials


• Lead marketing team to execute and maximize conference and special events attendance and ROI


• Recruit and lead a team of marketing professionals to handle all marketing activities


• Manage affiliate and other marketing partnerships

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field


• MBA degree is a plus


• 10+ years of marketing experience, ideally at a tech company launching mobile products to consumers


• 5+ years of B2C marketing experience


• 5+ years of experience in managing teams of marketing professionals


• Experience managing a marketing budget of $5+ million USD


• Proven results in increasing brand recognition, growing user community, with proven results scaling user growth and engagement 


• Strong experience with cryptocurrency and blockchain industry


• Experience with facial recognition and artificial intelligence / machine learning is a plus
