ETL Developer
Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction
Data Warehouse and Decision Support team
This position is responsible for providing technical expertise and services regarding the extract, transfer, and load of data for the
Department, including creating SSIS packages for the nightly build of the agency's data warehouse. This includes but is not limited to
data collected through enterprise applications such as the WISEid, WISEdata, the Wisconsin State Assessment System, and data
reported in WISEdash. WISEdash is powered by PowerSchool Unified Insights (formerly known as Edvantage tool under Hoonuit and
Versifit). The position is also responsible for creating EDFacts federal reporting files and fulfilling other state and federal data reporting
requirements.
The person in this position is responsible for peer testing of the work of their teammates including other ETL developers and dashboard
developers. Objectives, priorities, and deadlines are established in consultation with the user, director and division leadership and
discussed biweekly during Agile/Scrum sprint retrospective and planning sessions.
Pay range - $53 to $60 per hour on W2.
